Seasonal Adventures Inc. (Thousand Oaks & Simi Valley)

Kick off this fall season at Seasonal Adventures Inc.! Both children and adults will get a kick out of seeing the huge selection of pumpkins in the pumpkin patch which come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Oh my gourd!
Stop by for some cute photos in the pumpkin patch with the kids or take some pumpkins home for fall decorating. Pumpkins in every shape and size range from $11 – $36. They’ve even got scarecrows and straw bales for you to purchase and take home.
There’s also inflatable rides, bounce houses, slides, and a petting zoo that the children will no doubt find entertaining.
Admission: Admission is free! Rides are ticketed ($1.50 per ticket).

Underwood Family Farms (Moorpark)

One of the best places to celebrate pumpkin season is at Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark. This year will be their 27th Annual Fall Harvest Festival and there is so much to do for both children and adults!
There is a gigantic pumpkin patch of course, but also rides, games, live entertainment, an animal farm, face painting, tractor-pulled wagon rides, and even pig racing! It’s also one of the only places in the Conejo Valley with a corn maze.
Weekends will have themes such as “antique tractor weekend” and “wild west weekend” so get your tickets in advance if there is a particular themed weekend you’d like to attend otherwise you might miss out.
Admission: Admission on weekdays is $14. Tickets must be purchased online for weekends and range between $22 and $30.

Calabasas Pumpkin Festival

Did you know that Calabasas got its name from the Spanish word “Calabaza” which means “‘pumpkin”? Local legend has it that explorer Juan Bautista de Anza was traveling through the area now known as Calabasas when suddenly, his wagon full of pumpkins overturned. A few months later, the area saw its first pumpkin patch!
So there’s no place more fitting to visit a pumpkin patch this season than in Calabasas! The Calabasas Pumpkin Festival will be held this year on Sunday October 20. Yes, it’s one day only!
The celebrations will include live performances, inflatable rides and games, food trucks, reptile shows, face painting, and of course all things pumpkin related! There will be a pumpkin patch, professional pumpkin carving, pumpkin pies and other pumpkin treats, and even pumpkin beer for the adults.
Admission: $10 per person if purchased online. If tickets are purchased at the gate admission is $15 per person. Admission covers unlimited inflatable rides, games, live music, contests, dance parties, and live bug & reptile shows!

Prancer’s Farm (Santa Paula)

Make memories with your family this fall at Prancer’s Farm. Every weekend throughout October you can visit their pumpkin patch for scenic photo opportunities or for pumpkin pickin’. The pumpkin patch here is over ten acres!
There’s also a cornfield maze, petting zoo, wagon hay rides, farm games, and live entertainment. On Saturday nights children can enjoy Halloween-themed movies such as Hocus Pocus and Haunted Mansion.
You can visit Prancer’s Farm for seasonal fun on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout October.
Admission: Admission costs $13 and includes access to the farm, corn maze, hay ride, and animal center.
